Crazy Things have Happened

Well, it's been way too long since I've blogged. Since then, we've added another baby boy to our family. We now have 4 boys. Elijahs 5, Gabriels 3 Isaiahs 1 and Noah is the newest addition, coming in at 2 months or 11 weeks today! We've been so blessed, but still waiting to add some pink into our lives. Elijah now says he wants 2 TWO sisters! I think one will do! Elijah and Gabriel are usually best buds but that usually means they fight like worst enemies.

Matthew has been in the Air Force for now six years & we've lived in Missouri for six years! We have no clue If it's Gods plan for him to stay in or get out. Once Staff results come out, we will know that. To be honest, it's scares me to think we may be leaving the life we've known for so long. I like the comfort of health insurance. I also just don't like change at all! Matthew on the other hand has his heart set on getting out. And I wish he didn't. He just doesn't like his job, or the people he works with.

We are trying to get our debt under control, which is showing to be harder than it was before. We were 90% debt free a few years ago, with the Expectional of the house we own and our car loan, but I insisted we go home one time and that killed us. We weren't ready for that kind of trip with no savings. It doesn't help that family never helps out financially when we go home. Since they never come here his parents have started coming once a year, two years ago, that's it. You'd think if they wanted to see us more than once a year they'd help us come home, but they don't. If I dwell on it too much I start to feel a lot of anger come forward, so I try to to think about it.

The boys are huge! Elijah starts kindergarten this year! That in itself makes me realize how old he's getting! Gabriel might get to start head-start- I'm praying he does! It would be really good for him. He needs the structure, the social interaction and needs to see that more people than just mommy gives rules and sticks to them. Isaiah will be 2 in September! He's so chubby and generally a happy boy! I'm hoping potty training comes easy for him! And Noah, well, he loves to smile, coo, and looking at himself. He fits in perfectly to our chaotic life.

The Struggle

I never thought I would be typing this, but everyone struggles with something, and my struggle happens to be a few things. I'm struggling loosing weight. It just doesn't seem to want to go. It breaks my heart. Many have no clue how much it depresses me, or affects my every day life. Not many people know how much I weight, and I guess I'm at weight where I'm stuck and I'm going to have to work super hard for it to go. I hear people say, it's not the number on the scale that matters, but what they don't understand is, it does matter! It matters because it's super unhealthy. I get that inches count, but I haven't noticed any inches lost. I get "you need to make sure you're hydrated" "You need to make sure you're eating enough" "workout 5 days a week and rest 2" I'm doing it all! I'm kicking butt and taking names! I'm way more active now than I was two weeks ago. I'm eating healthier, and haven't had soda in 11 days- which is a huge accomplishment! But, good news is, I'm happier now than I was two weeks ago, I have more energy now, and I'm getting much better sleep at night! Wanna know my secret? Just ask me!

Now, I'll give you an update on the boys!

Elijah is wilder and crazier than ever! I'm not even kidding! He's lying, he's being mean, says he doesn't want to play, and he'd rather watch tv! I swear he thinks he's 14-15 years old! Its driving me batty! I can't wait until he starts school! It will give us both a much needed break from each other! He's getting taller and slender! He's super strong! He can write his name, and knows all his letters and can recognize them all! He knows 0-10 and can count up to 12. We're working on past 12. He knows all his colors! He's a great big brother! He loves helping me with Isaiah! He loves trying to help Gabriel potty train! He is truly an amazing helper, he just needs an attitude adjustment, and needs to learn that lying is bad.

Gabriel is huge! He's 33 pounds & pretty short for his age, but you'd never tell. He's in 3T shirts and 2T bottoms. His blonde curly hair is to die for! Everyone just loves it! He's known for getting himself hurt. This past weekend he dove into concrete TWICE with his head! He didn't let it stop him though! Tough little man! He also copies every single thing Elijah does! His most annoying trait lately! He eats and eats and eats, but when it comes to supper time, he most of the time refuses to eat. He's almost potty trained, but still has some improvement to make, but I think he's doing great!

Isaiah is tiny! His last weight check he had lost weight, can I loose weight? No one would question it. haha! He's 7.5 months old! He's wearing 3-6 & 6 month clothes. He's 95% cloth diapered, he wears disposables to church. He crawls, pulls up on everything, and even walked the couch yesterday! He nurses on average 4-5 times a day, and eats 4 jars of food a day- usually. He also eats cheerios, and finger foods! He loves feeding himself! He loves to go on walks in the ergo, he's never been on a stroller ride, yet! He is very attached to me lately, which is kinda hard. If I'm in the kitchen he'll cry and crawl all the way too me. He doesn't like for me to put him somewhere and me not be in sight. But, he's a sweet boy! He has awesome cuddles, and loves to be sweet!

Time for me to go make some yummy dinner so we can go on a walk later! I hope you enjoyed my blog. Nothing special, but I took the time to write it.

I know God is always with me.

Struggles

It's hard sometimes to find a balance. I'm a wife, mom, and a friend. Each of those go into other catorgioes such as, lover, caregiver, kisser of the boo boos, a listener, a shoulder to cry on. I've stopped trying to find myself, because I already know who I am. I am, Mandy, I'm twenty-four years old, a wife of seven years to a husband that I struggle to have intimacy with-mostly my own fault, I'm never in the mood, or I'm too tired. I'm a mother to three little boys, a four year old whom begs to go to school and due to our stupidity in finances over the course of six and a half years, we can't afford to pay for preschool, and he's too smart for free preschool in the area. A two year old who is so tender-hearted and just wants love, but acts out because he's still learning, and doesn't fully understand that their are consequences for being "bad" or not obeying, or being disrecwprful. A four month old, that only desires love, food, and to be cleaned. I am a friend to a lot of people who just need me to listen to their problems, to need some kid free time from there own rugrats.

I find it hard sometimes to relay on God for everything. He says to bring my burdens to him, that he'll carry them for me, that they are no longer mine. But, I feel as if I must carry these due to my own stupidity. Thankfully my husband and I have come to the conclusion that we haven't been finically smart, and we saw this before it was too late. Now, we are paying for it. I'm babysitting, making cash to pay for things, to put towards debt, we are using all of our tax return to pay off what we can, hopefully everything credit card wise and have a little left over to put in the bank to prepare for life outside the military, because that will be coming sooner rather than later. We are trying to eat healthier, and exercise together. We are trying to figure out if we want another baby, or if we should wait, wait a lot longer than our usual gap. He's ready, he says. But I've noticed his patience isn't what it used to be. Things with number four will be different, much different than number two and three and different than number one.

My husband desires a daughter. Badly- we've had a girl name for over three years now. It's perfect for our family, but I know that if it's another boy, he will be upset. He will feel like he can't make me happy, because of course, most women want a daughter as well, but I will feel
Like I've let him down too- I think before a fourth is conceived, we should do a lot of praying and seeking Gods counsel.

Everything I've spoken of tonight is struggles I deal with on a daily basis. Even more struggles than these, these are just ones I'll share tonight.

Winter Wonder.. where the winter weather is?

Well I don 't know about you, but I am ready for some snow! It's been raining the past few days, and that's not acceptable for Dec weather for me. Yes, I am a southern girl at heart, but since I'm in a place that gets extra cold and I hardly saw snow growing up, I think it should be snowing! This raining and the temperature being in the 50's is crap! I want some snow! lol! The forecast says it should be snowing next Friday, but it's not a very big chance, and it's a mix. All I want is a white Christmas! That's not too much to ask for, is it?

Well because some awesome friends of mine wanted me to stay on facebook, and not get rid of my account I did! So, heres to giving it one more shot! I deleted a lot of my friends that I never talked too, or friends that didn't seem interested in my life, those people aren't truly friends if they aren't interested in your life right?

Well, not much to update yall on. My best friend is getting baptised this Sunday! :) I will be able to take her pictures, I'm so excited! I'm not sure if little Grace is on her way or not. Amanda tried feeling on the out side of my belly for a hard spot, we think we felt it, but we aren't sure. So, we are just waiting for a BFP test and then we will go from there. Yall have no idea how much I want this, but I want it in God's timing! It seems like things are working out! God shows how much he provides, if you just wait for him!...

So, Matthew got an email tonight saying in 2012 BAH will be going up! We NEVER expected that! It will be about $40 more then what we would have gotten, $801 is what we will get! Everything seems to be falling into place! I'm so excited! Amanda and I moved some of our stuff to the new house today. It wasn't a lot, but I plan on moving a lot tomorrow! We have to get a movin' on this! Clothes will be going tomorrow, along with things we don't use in the house and won't use until after the first of the year! Thank you all for reading! I know it's not much, and it all seems to be jumbled, but that's how my thoughts are right now.

Go over toA Mothers Love blog and read hers. She's like me, blogs sometimes and puts up awesome pictures, which I have yet to do. I promise I will get some pictures in these blogs, one day :)

Appointment Day

Well today I had my second two week appointment. This is how everything stands thus far. I measured between 28 and 29 weeks, which I thought was odd, because up until now I've messaured right on time, and Thursday I'll be 30 weeks. 10 more weeks!!! My feet have been really swollen. So the Doc told me to rest more, and stop being on my feet so much. It's just so hard to do that when I have inlaws coming and I have things that need to be done. Any other time I would be able to rest, but I seem to be a pain in the rear when someone forces me to rest. My weight gain is good, my blood pressure is great, so they aren't worried about anything. Also, I've been having braxton hicks thoughout the days. Which the doc said is completly normal, which I knew that anyways, I just didn't know what they felt like, now I do. It didn't hurt, it was just a small pain, in my back and my tummy got rock hard. Which I've been having these for the past few days at least, but doc told me not to worry, that all was fine. :)
Matthew and I start our first birthing class tonight at 7 pm. I'm so excited. I got the last spot in the class, and another bonus they are free. Yes, we have to drive 30 minutes away, but we couldn't afford paying the amount the nearest town wanted. So, we got these. They are the same thing, but for free. :) I'm pretty excited about doing it. Can't wait to see what I can learn, and how it's going to go.
My inlaws are coming in Thursday night, so I've been getting the house in order for them. Cleaning, laundry, making sure things stay cleaned. It's been a pretty hard job, but I've been doing pretty good so far I think. They aren't leaving til Sunday morning, so we have them all weekend, which we only have one thing planned. Taking them out to dinner one night to a grea BBQ place in Sedaila! We love the place and hope they do too.
Well, Matthew got me a body pillow, and I'll be the first to tell you, I slept wonderful last night. Didn't move much, Elijah didn't even move much. I woke up a few times because I could tell I was on my back, but other than that no pain at all. I slept all night, got up this morning at 6am and have been going ever since. I've drank a gallon of water today, and Elijah's been moving all aorund. So, all is well in the Mandy Flippen tummy.
Hope you enjoyed this update. Sorry it's been so long, just been busy, and tired because lack of sleep. Now I'm off to go cook dinner and hopefully hubby will be home soon! Hope everyone has a great rest of the day! :)

Baby Love

I love being pregnant. Yes, there are some things I don't like, but overall, I'm enjoying being pregnant. I love feeling him move around all the time, and I love that Matthew is learning more about it. :) Well, I said the next post I do is going to have some pictures from the beginning of my pregnancy, so what I did was this.....

I hope you enjoy looking at that. :) I know i do. I see a big difference on how i've grown. I love it. My baby shower is this Saturday between 2-4pm, mynext appointment is Aug 3, and my inlaws come in on Aug 5. I have a lot to do between now and then. Lots of cleaning, and rearranging, but i'm excited to see them and to have a nice weekend with them.
Matthew and I found a drive in this past weekend, and saw Salt and Grown Ups. Never heard of Salt, but it was good. Grown Ups was great. Being at a drive in was awesome! We had never been before and saw it going down the highway and turned around and went to it. I tell you, Matthew and I had an overall great weekend. We've seem to be getting closer, and I love it! I don't know what I would do without my husband. He's my rock, and I lean on him all the time! lol!
I'll be 29 weeks on Thursday which means only 11 more weeks. I can't believe it! I'm super excited and I think I'm almost completly ready! I can't wait to see how I'm going to act while labor and delivery. ;) There will be pictures, so everyone can see how I acted. :)

Third Trimester = 13 More Weeks

How Far Along: 27 Weeks

Total Weight Gain: 24 lbs, don't remind me.. ugh!

Maternity Clothes: Oh yes!! They are so comfy!

Sleep: Well lets just say it's horrible some nights and others aren't so bad. It takes me a while to get comfy, and sometimes I can't get somfy. :/

Best Moment This Week: Probably my pictures, oh and then going bowling with my friends, that was pretty fun too!

Movement: He's always moving!! His feet are up always up by my ribs. I love feeling him kick me. It doesn't hurt me at all. I also feel him, maybe his fingers down by my bladder. And I love feeling him toss, turn and flip around in my tummy! It feels awesome!!!

Gender: Oh, Matthew and I are super excited to start out with a boy!

Labor Signs: Praise God no! I don't know what Braxton Kicks feel like, but I don't think I've felt them!

Belly Button: I still have my whole! I'm still an innie and I think I'll stay that way! :D

What I miss: I miss not having back pain. I don't miss drinking so much soda. I can't even drink a whole one now! I'm so proud of myself!! I miss being able to sleep well without hip or back pain!

Weekly Wisdom: Talk to your baby as much as you can! Spend time enjoying your baby move around. Just have fun with everything. Don't let anything pass you up!

Milestones:  He is now 15 inches long! He's also a little over 2 pounds this week. He has more tastebuds now then he'll have when I give birth. This means he can taste the amniotic fluid when I eat different foods, he may even react to it. Also, his nostrils are opening up and it means he can pratice inhaling and exhaling. He will now be measured from head to toe instead of crown to rump. He seems to be growing so well! :)

I still don't have cravings and thats ok with me. I will want something maybe one day but the next day it can look or taste awful. I still cry about almost anything. If I'm upset I will cry. I think Matthew feels horrible, because he'll get on to me about something and I'll break out into tears sometimes. I've always been super sensitve, but not like this. I've become more blunt since I got pregnant, but that and the emotional change are about the only things that have changed. I still love the same man, but love him so much more. I love looking down at my tummy and watching it move. I love thinking about my son, and thinking of what he'll look like. If he will happen to have red hair and blue eyes, or if he will take after mommy and daddy's hair with blonde hair and blue eyes. As much as I think of this I don't care what he'll look like. He will always be my handsome little man. (as my dad calls him, Little Man)

Yesterday was my 27 Week photo shoot. What I will do is put up a few of those pictures and then my next post will be pictures from my first photo shoot to yesterday's. I hope you enjoy the pictures. I think Melody did a great job. Hope you do too!

Never Let Your Praying Knee's Get Lazy....

Last night Matthew really surprised me, and came upstairs with our couples devotion. It was awesome! We prayed together and had a great discussion! It was just awesome!

But this song is song is one that I've loved since I first heard it and I think that everyone will love it. It's a country song, but it's just perfect. You should listen to it... Love like Crazy

Well today I put some things on Elijah's wall today! It looks so great, I can't wait to put pictures up! His room is coming along so great! Baby shower is in two weeks. My friends keep telling me it's going to be great. She's not telling me much about the baby shower, which is fine with me, I love surprises! My mom is sending a box out for Elijah on Friday. My Nana is supposed to send out a money order at the beginning of Aug. Matthew's parents are supposed to come out at the beginning of Aug to bring a lot of things too. It's super exciting!

Matthew and I are getting closer already. Doing our devotion every night now, praying together, and having a great time. We pray for our son, and our marriage. Love can do amazing things! God can do amazing things!!

Sorry for this being so short but I really have nothing to write.. Hope you enjoy. I'll try to do this more often...again.. Have a great day

As for me and my house we will serve the Lord!!!

Oh the Joy's of Thinking

I love the way I think sometimes.

I can't help to think of how our baby is going to look. How it's going to feel when I hold him. How I'm going to look after giving birth. How Matthew is going to react when our son is here. How Elijah's room is going to really turn out to look.

I also can't wait just to hold our son. Everytime I feel him move around I just want to hold him and put him in my arms. So, I know since i feel that way already I can't wait to see how I'll feel when he's actually here in the flesh. I know it's going to be different in the house, and our lives will be forever changed, but I'm looking at it as a good change.

I've always wanted to have kids, and always wanted to be married, but to be honest when I was growing up I never thought it would happen. Now that I've been married for almost 3 years and I have a baby growing and moving inside of me. Which just makes me feel awesome!

My husband, Matthew, just loves the fact that he can feel his son move around. He talks to him all the time, tells him goodnight. Matthew also rubs my tummy down with loction at night, and while he does that he talks to Elijah. It's so nice!! Matthew has just fell in love with his son, and I know he can't wait til he's here.

I've been thinking of what he's going to call My mom and dad and Matthew's mom and dad. Since my mom and dad have grandkids, they call them nana, and pawpaw. But Matthew's mom and dad don't have any grandkids and it's going to be intresting. I've been trying to think of names but haven't came up with anything yet. When I talk to Elijah about my mom and dad I say, " Nana and pawpaw love you and can't wait to see you."

I just love to think of how things are going to be, and wanted to share that with you :)

Friday, June 4

My baby.... EMF

21 weeks, 19 weeks to go. Can you believe it? Less then 19 weeks before October is here. It's amazing when you start to count things down, I feel like my whole life is going to be a count down now. But that's ok.

How Far: 21 Weeks. :)

Total Weight Gain: 15lbs thus far. :P Trust me I keep telling myself I will be losing a lot of weight after this baby is born...

Maternity Clothes: Nothing new yet, but I would like to get some shorts and some tank tops soon.

Sleep: Well, I toss and turn a lot, and last night, he was rolling around like crazy, and wouldn't let me sleep at all, but I gotta say I love it. :)

Gender: Oh He's so a Boy! He wasn't shy at all at the ultrasound. He was putting it all out there. It was awesome.

Best moment this week: The ultrasound of course. It was the best thing I've ever experienced. I can't wait to do it all again! I hope I get to do it at least one more time before Elijah comes out. :D

Food Cravings: Nothing really. Except soda. That's all I really want, and I get one every now and again, but not everyday. :)

Labor Signs: None, Thank God! :)

Innie Or Outtie: I'm still an Innie :)

What are you looking forward to the Most: I would have to say, getting the room painted soon. I'm so ready for Matthew to put the crib together. Also, I have some friends sending me some gifts and they say they are coming soon, so I hope so, I'm ready to see what Goodies they have in store for me and Elijah!  Also looking forward to a lot more movement from this wiggle worm, I can't wait til Matthew can feel him moving around, he's felt the baby, and so has my best friend Melody, but I can't wait til they can feel him move! :)

What do you miss the most: I miss being able to sleep all night without moving at all. I miss being able just be able to do things without getting so tired all the time. But I've heard it's all worth it in the end :)

Weekly Wisdom: I would have to say, go out and get an ultrasound. I know they can get costly if your insurance doesn't cover it, but it's well worth it to see how that baby looks and to see what the baby is. The gel they put on your tummy is so warm, it's almost hot, but it's such a great experince.

Now, my plan is to bore you all with some pictures. I thought these were the best to put on facebook and on my blog, so, here you go. :) I hope you all enjoy!

Looks like to me he's smiling at me. :)

Looks like praying Hands to me. He's learning so fast!

I think this is his feet above his head, someone can correct me if I'm wrong please.

And... He's a boy! :)

Well I guess this is all the boring I will do to you all. For now that is..

So, while we were telling our family yesterday some said baby would be a girl, because, yes we did the guessing game with them too, but then some said they could tell in the tone of our voice the baby was a boy. I guess we were pretty excited...
Matthew's parents might be coming up to visit us in the first week of August which I think is great! I can't wait to show them our house in person, and for them to see where we live. I think they would think it would pretty neat. Kind of surprised me, because thats the week of their Anniversary. But, I'm happy. It will the the whole first week of August, the room should be complet by then, and our house should be in good order by then. :)
Also, keep Matthew's brother, Jeremiah in your prayers please. He left this moring for California, for some training, then he's off to Afgan. :/ I just hope Matthew's mom will handle this better then I hope. I know this is her baby boy, i'm sure he'll be fine, but just please keep him in your prayers. He'll be leaving in August to go there, and he's only soppouse to be gone for 6 months. He's a Marine Reserve, or as he says, "Once a Marine, always a Marine, no matter what kind" And I have to say I agree with him, they put them guys though some horrible stuff. But anyways, please just keep him and his unit in your prayers, as much as you can. Thank you.

One more thing, the reason I knew I was pregnant with a boy, was because I listened to God. He gave me a boy name, a full boy name and in what seemed like a very real dream. Some of you doubted me, and I understand that there is a 50/50 chance of getting a boy, but I knew that God blessed me with a boy. I'm not saying that the next time I'll know the sex of the baby, but when it comes to God talking to me, telling me something I try my best to listen, and I don't take what he says lightely, nor will I ever. I just needed to say that. I love all my readers and all my friends, and I hope that I will not lose any of you because of this. I just hope you enjoy this whole blog, like usual. :)

Loving what I see

Well yesterday some of you know that a friend took some pictures of me, and needless to say I had a blast! I can't wait to do it again! The girl who did my photos is my best friend here. She's like a sister to me, and I'm so blessed to have met her! She and I not only get along, but we look so much alike. We like most of the same things, only thing that is making us twins are our age, and she's from the North, and I'm from the South. I love sweet tea, and she hates it. lol! But, anyways, when she came over yesterday and took my pictures when I finally saw them online I freaked out because they were so beautiful. I'm going to show you my all time favorites. Once I start to scrapbook my pregnancy I will be putting these in the book! So here you go!

So the last one is my favorite of all. I love how she got both of our wedding bands in the picture. Matthew wasn't going to be in any of the pictures, but I talked him into it.
Matthew ordered the crib last night. So it will be coming soon! Then the room will start looking like a baby room! I can't wait! I'm super excited. I have only 15 more days until we find out the sex. I'm still set on a boy. But, I've come to the state of mind that if God gives us a girl, thats the best thing for us. I will cry for a little bit, but I know that God knows what he is doing for us. But, I don't want any one saying, "Haha I told you it was a girl" taunting me. I don't think that is nice. I'm not getting the ultrasound to prove anyone wrong, I'm doing it to have the pictures, to have the expercince. I could careless why people think I'm doing it. I've noticed that this pregnancy has made me more bold, and much more emotional. Which I think I like.
The reason I titled this "Loving what I see" Is because I'm loving how I'm changing with this pregnancy. I'm loving how I'm not scared of labor or delivery.  I love that I'm getting over it may being a girl, even though I don't think it's a girl. I love how I don't care what people think. I love how I'm starting to just stop thinking about Matthew's parents. (You may ask why am I know thinking of them?) Well because, his mom doesn't talk to us, they don't call, and I know that works two ways, but most days I feel horrible, and i'm resting, or either I feel great and I'm out and about. But his mom promised me pictures on some things she got the baby a little longer then a month ago and haven't heard or seen anything, so I've just stopped thinking about it. I don't care about it anymore.
Well I think this covers all the things I'm loving at this time. I hope yall enjoyed this one, because I enjoyed writing it. :)

Rambling Pooh Bear

Well today I thought I would edit some pictures that I took early this morning. I hope you all enjoy them. I love my baby bump, and think it's so cute! My friend Shannon helped me figure out why it was my bump took longer to show up then hers. She's shorter then I am, and has a smaller frame. Me, on the other hand I'm taller with a bigger frame, I weigh more then I should, but for now I'm ok with that. In a few hours I will be getting weighted, and I'm not looking forward to it, but I think I will be ok with it. I'm slowly learning to accept myslef, and I'm loving it. So, here you go with some awesome edited pictures, by Me! :)

I've been thinking about a lot lately, and maybe it's not a good thing, but I can't help it. When I have nothing to do all day all I can do is think. I know that Matthew is going to be the perfect daddy for our little Pooh. I know that I get upset because he isn't as happy as I am, and thats crazy. I know that our life is going to be fine, weather or not we can afford all the things we need or not. I know that God is going to provide, and I just need to allow him to do what he needs to do.
I'm itching to start on the baby's room! I want to paint it, put things up, hang up clothes, but I have no paint, nothing to hang up or no hangers to hang up clothes, and I only have like 5 things for the baby to wear. I know thats more then nothing, and I'm very thankful for all the things I have, but I just feel like I'm behind on everything. I know that I'm not.
I feel like I'm rambling, so I'm going to stop now. Up until now I don't have a title for this blog. But now I know what I'm going to title it. Rambling Pooh Bear. :)

18 Weeks 1 Day

Yesterday was one of my best days, and I wanted to blog about it, but I just had so much going on. So, today will be my weekly update. Sorry, but I have no pictures. So, I will be doing a picture blog soon! :)

How Far: 18 Weeks and 1 Day

Total Weight Gain: About 8 pounds... Makes me sad

Maternity clothes: Of course, they are so comfy, and I got my swim suit!

Sleep: It's ok. I've started getting back and hip pains, I don't have extra pillows, so I can't sleep with them between my legs. I usually still sleep on my back, which might be bad, but it's still comfy to do so, I don't feel any pains. I toss and turn all night, because I can't get comfortable, so that means I sleep half the afternoon away. Which I hate, but I need to get my rest.

Best Moment This Week: Well I've noticed my bump! I've felt a little more movement this week, and I got my ultrasound on the calendar for June 3, 2010 at 3pm! I miss my boobs not hurting so bad. I'm having to wear a regular bra, plus a sports bra for the support. Plus I haven't throw up in over a week now :) Maybe it's gone!

Food Cravings: Well I haven't touched sodas in a while, and I've been wanting one for a few days, I get really bad headaches at night, and I think it may be because I've completely left sodas alone.

Labor Signs: Goodness no! :) Praise God!

Innie or Outtie: I'm so an Innie! :)

What are you looking forward to the most: My ultrasound! I can't wait. Out of all the girls I know, I am the last one to get an ultrasound. Which makes me sad, but it's ok. I'm happy that I'm able to get one. God keeps blessing me.

What do you miss the most: I miss not having back pains and hip pains. I miss being able to sleep soundly through the night.

Weekly Wisdom: Talk to moms that have went through the same thing you are going through, they will be able to help you more then people that don't know anything. Exercise when you get a chance or when you feel like you can.

My next appointment is on my 20th birthday. Its going to be a bittersweet day for me. Why you ask? Because my dad's 50th birthday is the day before my birthday, and when I was growing up we would celebrate our birthdays together. So, knowing on my birthday I will be at the doctors office, and not seeing my dad, or probably hearing his voice just makes me sad.

On a better note, I got my swimsuit yesterday when I turned 18 weeks. I also got a gift I wasn't expecting. My friend here, who I've grown very close to got me a Winnie the Pooh blanket, and a Wipe case, which I thought was so sweet. Then we went to Wal-Mart and added things to my baby registry! It was fun!

I'm so excited for my ultrasound. I can't wait. My husband was a little upset when he found out I set a date without talking to him first. I thought he would be excited. He said I need to stop thinking about what I want, and see what we can do. He said I'm forcing him to come up with the money now from the next paycheck. I just wish he was as excited as I am. It's only going to cost $80. I say that like it's pocket change, and it's not with us. But, I didn't see anything wrong with what I did. He's not the kind to be excited. I wish that's one thing that he could overcome. We are having a baby, there is a baby in my tummy, why can't he be excited? He says I'm just over excited, and maybe I am, but shouldn't I be? Sorry, I didn't mean to vent about that, but I needed to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening.

I'm hoping to have a picture soon.

I'm pregnant, happy, and pretty!! :) :)

My growing baby

Today marks my 17 weeks. I read about how the baby has grown today. I read it outload to Matthew before he left for work. This is what it said, the baby is 5 inches long, and about the size of my palm, which is awesome. I got the tape measure out and measured out 5 inches. Thats actually bigger then I thought. The baby weighs about 5 ounces or more. The baby is sucking and sallowing, all in preparation of his big day outside the womb. One more awesome thing is, the baby's heartbeat is now regulated, about twice the beat as mine. No more spontaneous beats. It's around 140's to 150's. Thats about all thats happening this week. Which I think is awesome. I love learning how my baby is growing, and what he does while hes inside of me, his mommy.
This is what my baby looks like this week, of course this isn't my baby, since I don't have an ultersound yet, hopefully I will have one soon. But, until then I will show you this.

I am thinking of a lot right now. Feel like i'm going through a lot. I'm not sure what. I sleep ok at night, I just have a lot on my mind. Well, things I don't want to talk about right now... I don't want people telling me that its ok, when I know it's not. I don't want people lying to me, or saying things they don't really mean. I know that sounds a bit mean, but I want the truth, and God and I have talked about it and I know he's going to take care of it, just not in my timeline. But, please pray for the situation. I guess it's unspoken!  Thanks. :)

A New Suprise~

Well as most of you know, yesterday I was 16 weeks. So, I finally got Matthew to take me a belly picture, and I want to share it with you all. It's not my favorite picture, but I think it will do :)

Well here it is. Now I want to tell you all something. Matthew is the best guy for me, as I've known for a long time now. But, last night I was reading to him about how much the baby has grown, that the baby can hear us, that he weighs 3 to 5 ounces about 4 to 5 inches long. He also has eyebrows and eyelashes, and he getting very sensitive to our touch, if we touch him, he might even squirm around. How cute is that? Well, after telling him all of this, and I lay down, he rolls over to me, and cuddles up to me, and say's, "My baby boy is just growing so much." Now, let me tell you, Matthew isn't the kind of daddy to be that looks up things with me, tries to find the heartbeat, or even is very excited at the appointments. Why? Because the appointments lately have been nothing but heartbeat, and measuring me. And I can listen to the heartbeat here at home. But, When he said what he did about his baby boy, just almost brought tears to my eyes. The tone of voice he said it in, the way he looked at me, and while he said it, he was rubbing my belly. Matthew is going to be a great daddy. It doesn't matter if the baby turns into a boy or girl, but I'm still thinking it's a boy. I love my husband, and I love my baby.
Today I threw up. :( Eww.. but I can tell you, it was my fault. I should have gotten up earlier, and eaten much earlier, but it's ok. The was the first time I couldn't make it to the bathroom, I was in the kitchen, thank God for Garage disposal. This was only the eight time I threw up. I had an empty tummy, and my Pooh Bear was upset with me because of that. I told him it would be ok, and I made some oatmeal and now mostly all better.
Well I guess this is all for now. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you all soon. Laura officially graduated today! Praise God! :)

In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Pooh Bear Update :)

Well I thought today/ right now would be a great time to update you all on my pregnancy. I had an appointment today, and I need to do my weekly survey!! :) So here it goes.

How far are you: 15 Wks & 4 Days

Total Weight gain: (It makes me sad) 6lbs so far. :(

Maternity clothes: Of course. :) I love them. They are so comfy. I can't wait to get my swimsuit! So excited for that.

Getting any sleep: A little. It just depends. I still sleep on my back. Not sure if thats bad since I'm almost 4 months. But, I sleep in in the mornings now. I don't get up so early anymore yet. I sleep til like 9 or even 10. Which I know is bad, but I don't have anything to do during the day. :(

Best Moment you had this Week: The weekend. :) It was an awesome weekend. I had our cookout, and then I went bowling twice. Once I had to pay, the second time, It was free. I just had so much fun.

Any Food Cravings: Still Dr. Pepper. :) And Potato Salad. It was only for like a day. I've eating baked sour cream onion chips for the first time. They are SO good.

Any Idea about the Gender: Of course, as most of you know, I think he's a boy. ;)

Names: I'm stuck on Elijah Micheal & Elizabeth Madison. :) Either way I'm set. :)

Labor signs: No, but I was cramping pretty bad Friday. But haven't felt it since.

Heartbeat rate: 145 bpm today at the doctor's office.

What are you looking forward to: Well I have to say, my next appointment. Only because it's on my birthday. May 24. I'll be 19 weeks and 4 days. Plus the appointments lately will only be checking the heartbeat, measuring me, and checking my weight, blood presure, and such. So, no blood. :D

What do you miss the most: I miss.... not being able to keep my food down. I'm still getting sick, today I didn't get sick, but Thursday and Friday I got really sick. :( I hope that was the last time I'm going to throw up. I've only thrown up 7 times. So, not a lot compared to some people I know. A lot of people lose count. :(

Weekly Wisdom: I would have to say, when you feel like you might get sick, eat. It helped me ignore it today. Maybe today I was just really hungry, but when I ate today I felt so much better. Also, get all the advice you can from your mom, or older moms, plus younger moms, they have all been through this, and all have different experinces, so, maybe you will have all the advice and will help you out. :)

*****************************************************************

My appointment was good. Only took about 10 minutes. We had had my weight checked, blood pressure checked, urine sample, and then got in the back heard the heartbeat, Doctor came in measured me, and asked me if I wanted quad screening, I turned it down, and I asked a few questions, she gave me card to get my ultersound, and bam it was done. She said my blood pressure was great. I need to gain only 2-4 pound in between visits. Which is hard to do. :( If I try hard enough, I think I may be able to do it. Doctor said my blood pressure was GREAT! :) And everything looked great! Like I said above, my next appointment is May 24. :) On a Monday again... My birthday! :D Then sometime at the end of May or really early June We will be going up to Kansas City to get an ultersound to see the gender. If it's a girl, I might cry, but I will love her as much as I would the baby if he was a boy. I really want him to be a boy. I just feel like he's a boy, and just the way I was given the name, just have that feeling. I'm so sick of people saying well... "What If".... It's been like 9- 10 weeks since I found out and I'm tired of hearing it. Why can't people just say oh well I hope that God gives you a boy. I know he doesn't give you want YOU want, he gives you what HE wants you to have, and thats ok with me.
Well I think this is enough for now. Matthew is sick :( and I need to go check on him. Hope yall enjoyed.

Jealously will get you no where....

Do you hate it when people are so jealous they do everything in there power to get you into toruble? It's so uncalled for. I hate it when people that think they know, or know "everything" put their noses in your business... Thats all I have to say on that...

Today I'm still getting things in order at the house. Most of you have seen pictures on my facebook. If not, I'll upload some on here. I love my house. I've never seen a house more beautiful. We got so blessed. We have a cookout coming up on Saturday and I've got to get everything in place before then. It's kinda gotten hard because people have started drama, but I"m overlooking the stupid in people, even though they can so help themselves. It's bad when they want this much attention. I'll be putting up pictures of the finished house too. Of course it's never finished because I love to decorate! I can't wait to go up to Hobby Lobby and get things for the living room, kitchen, dining room, and of course the baby's room. AHHHH!!

My mom and I are talking on a more serious bases now. Matthew is starting to come around to it. Makes me so happy. I've added her back on facebook. She's so happy about the baby. She was telling me today, "My baby is having my first grandbaby" she sounded so happy. She also told me she gets kind of sad about it, because she thought I would always be living much closer then I am. But I really hope she can come visit us soon. I know it's asking a lot, but I would love to see them here and have them on our turf. I think I'm going to ask Matthew if we can have Christmas here this year, or at least Thanksgiving. I know it's a long drive, but if they really want to come and see the baby, and have a good family time they will do it. I just have to keep my faith. I have to keep praying about the whole thing. It's so hard too, but I know with God, I can do anything. :)

I will post about my cookout too. This is what we will be having so far. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, "Mandy Made" Brownies, soda, sweet tea, maybe some potato salad... I'm not sure. I've never made it by myself, but I guess now is the time to do so. If you all have any ideas about what else I can add to this would be super great! I'm up for almost anything. Of course we will have tomatos, pickles, mayo, ketch up, mustard and lettuce for the burgers and hot dogs. But any other side dish would be great! I will take as many pictures as I can, and post some and tell you all about it.

Now here's an update on pooh bear: Tomorrow I will be 15 weeks. AHHHmazing. I've already started to feel little butterfly movement. I haven't thrown up since we've been out of TLF. My hair will not work with me at all. It feels so weird and if I try to curl it, it wont curl, which makes me sad.  And since I've been 14 weeks, he was the size of a lemon, and trust me he was acting very sour. I felt so sick, never threw up, I would eat as much as I could. I would try so hard to keep my mind off of the way I was feeling. Now that tomorrow I'll be 15 weeks he will be the size of a Naval Orange. I love Oranges, I might have to buy some and eat some. :) Yum!

Well here are some pictures of the house. Enjoy!

14 Weeks& 2 Days

Hello all bloggers out there, I know it's been a while since I updated my blog, but I want to at least keep you all informed on Baby Flippen. Our pooh bear is growing strong and my next appointment is coming up very soon!
Matthew is out of FTAC and now about to start his training I hope, and start his CDC's. We got our house, praise God! Tomorrow we go to church with some awesome friends of ours from Whiteman. I can't wait. I also got a new outfit for my pregnancy. Now I'll update you all on my pregnancy! :)

How Far are you: 14 weeks and 2 days

Total Weight gain: Not completly sure. I don't want to guess. Here lately I haven't really had an appetite. I'll think I'm hungry and I wont each very much at all.

Maternity clothes: Yes, not because I need them, but because they are so cute! And I'll need them soon, plus they are so comfy.

Getting any Sleep: Better then I use to. I do sleep on my back though, it's the only way I can sleep. If I sleep on my sides, I feel so sick. :(

Best Moment you've had this week: I guess it would be not throwing up at all. I've had to switch my vitiams over to Flintstones. I take two of them. So, it's not bad, they taste better and I can take them in the mornings. :)

Any Food Cravings: Lets see, Dr. Pepper and Taco Bell. :)

Any clue about Gender: I still have a strong feeling it's a boy.

Any Names you have picked out: Yes, Boy: Elijah Micheal; Girl: Elizabeth Madison; This will not be changing at all. I'm pretty set on these names.

Any Labor signs: Praise God NO :)

Any Strechmarks: Nope. I try to put loation on each night.

When is your next appointment: April 26, 2010 at 2:30pm. It's coming up. I can't wait! :)

What are you looking forward to: Since I have a heartbeat monitor I listen to his heart beat a lot, so thats pretty awesome, I can't wait to do that again. I can't wait to go to my next appointmet, and I can't wait to have an ultersound. I might move it up to really soon. I'm starting not to be able to wait til the end of May.

What do you miss the most: Well this week, not being able to eat. I'm able to drink whatever I want, but eating has gotten pretty hard. I don't have energy in the mornings, so I wish I had that. I miss being intmiate with my husband. I just don't have the desire anymore.. :(

Anything you've learned this week you would like to share: Well I've learned that my emotions are nuts. I have no control over them whatsoever. I get upset when something doesn't go my way, or if something goes the slightest way wrong, I get upset. I know that since I can control my emotions, I've done it before when I wasn't pregnant, that if I try hard enough I can do it. It might take a lot of work and I might have to work at it everyday, but I'm trying.

                             ******************************

I love to take warm bubble baths and just relaxe. Showers aren't my favorite anymore. Standing to long or walking around to much hurts the balls of my feet. I need to get more comfertable shoes. I know that my baby is in my tummy, I've felt little very little movement. Sometimes if I strech to far I hurt the bottom of my tummy. I try to do everything right, but it's very hard not to have a soda since that's what I"m craving mostly. I love to get things from people, but I have a theme, Winnie the Pooh. (Thats all I'm saying) When people are mean, or blow me off, it's very hurtful, and since my emotions are so high, it makes me want to cry. I love my family and my mom has said she wants to send me things for the baby, but trusting her word is kind of hard. I know she means well, but this I'll have to believe when I see it in the mail.

I'm loving our new house. It's nice and comfy. I've got to get everything set up by Saturday because crazy me has invited people over for a party. So, I ask for prayer, of energy so I can get things done.

Thank you all for reading. :) I hope to see you all reading more, as maybe I'll get more energy to blog more.
BTW Laura graduates in almost two weeks. I'm so happy and proud of her. She's going to be a great Airman!

Thursday, April 8

Girl or Boy? Strong feeling it's a Boy! :)

Any labor signs? Oh goodness no.

When's your next appointment? April 26 at 2:30pm

What are you looking forward to? Hearing the heartbeat whenever I want too, since we now have a heart monitor! :D

What do you miss the most? Not being able to ignore smells & Not having really bad headaches.

Anything you've learned this week that you would like to share? When I feel like sick, I pop in a preggie pop drop and make some warm bath water and get in and just relaxe, and I feel so much better. Also, if I feel sick I put some food in my mouth, even if I throw it up, most of the time I don't, but eating sometimes helps me feel better too.

So, the most amazing thing today is we got a call before 8am this morning for a house. I went over at 9am to get the key, a friend took me over and saw the wonderful house. It's beautiful! I love it! I'm so happy! I can't wait til Matthew gets off for lunch so he can see it and take pictures and claim it. God gave us something more then what we asked for. A brand new house, and a bigger house then what we asked for. Well this is this afternoon's post. I'm not feeling so well, so I have to feel better soon!

Thanks for reading. I hope you all saw my pictures on my last blog. I was excited to get them up there.
