This may sound strange to some of you, but I believe it's time for Matthew & I to date, each other, again. We just really need to re-connect. Having two kids, the thought of wanting more, and not knowing where the future is going to take us, we just need to take a step back & spend time with each other again, he doesn't know any of this yet, but that's only because he's watching The Hobbit & I have a terrible terrible headache. But while we are gone home, I'm going to make it a personal goal to go "on dates" with him & learn him all over again. Will it be weird? Probably at first, but I think it will be worth it. Maybe, just maybe we'll figure out something that we agree on.
I know this is short, but the movie is finally over & I'm going to bed. I'll post more about this, and more detailed reasonings behind it. For now, this is it.
Enjoying our Sunday tomorrow at home, church is canceled, because of our wonderful spring snow. I'm hoping to have a nice mild summer though. Nighty night.

Our Life {as of right now}
In two short weeks, Gabriel is going to be 7 months old! I can't believe it! I'm still breastfeeding and have decided to feed him at least one jar of baby food a day, along with him feeding himself some food as well. He slept really well last night, which hasn't happened in a while, so that was nice. Only woke up once!! Then was up at 6, which I am not complaining about. It just wasn't fun having both of them up before 7. Elijah came and crawled in bed with Matthew and I this morning at some time. I didn't have the heart to take him back to his bed, so he slept with us.
An update on Gabriel. He's crawling, rolling, sitting alone, and feeding himself. He has no teeth, and no signs of any coming in yet. He loves Sophie the Giraffe, which is missing right now. He still doesn't take a paci, which we're ok with. He's a very happy baby 90% of the time. As of right now I don't know if he'll be walking by his first birthday. He just has no interest in pulling up. He likes to try to stand supported. But, Elijah was full on pulling up by himself at 6 months, and it's weird to me that Gabriel is not, although I know 6 months is early. We'll see whenever Gabriel does it. He naps 1-2 times a day, depends on how he sleeps at night, and how he's feeling during the day. He loves to play peek-a-boo, loves when I sing to him, rock him, and cuddle period. He's still in his infant car seat, which he will probably stay in it, until around 8-9 months, we haven't fully decided. We're taking a slower approch with things with Gabriel, so hopefully I wont want another newborn for a while. Nursing does help with that, I must say. I love nursing him! Even at night, I don't mind. It's awesome cuddle time! I know it's the best thing he could get, and it makes me feel like a super hero! ;) He takes a sippy cup with water & juice. Although he only takes one or two sippes, but he's drinking from one, that's all that matters. He's still in 3-6 month clothes, my tiny baby! He's trying to go from a crawling postion to a sitting postion. He tried for the first time in the tub of all places! Silly boy! He has plently of nicknames, my fav lately have been, Boog, Boogie, Stink Butt, & Hungry Hippo! He's really a joyful baby! Everyone loves him. I have a friend who is in love with his "perfect head" as she says. I think with each kid you learn something different. I think that you become more laid back with each kid as well, at least I have.
Elijah, who will be 30 months on the 23 of April. He loves his little bubba so much! He can say his full name! Elijah sings his ABC's, can count to 10, say how old he is & knows all his body parts. He's way to smart for his own good. He knows how to take apart door knob covers, open doors, turn lights on & off, loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Small Potatos & Jake and the Neverland Pirates. He also lovese to watch VeggieTales! Bob & Larry are his favorite charaters, along with Jr. He is being potty trained, and he drinks out of cups like mommy & daddy, only has a sippy cup if we're going to the city. He likes to cuddle on his own time. Loves going to PT with daddy, and helping daddy do pushups & situps. He loves to sing, run and play with Gabriel. If Gabriel has something he shouldn't he says,"No, Gabirel Josiah, No" He loves playing with mommy, Buck & daddy. Although Gabriel doesn't take a paci, if Elijah finds one he insits on giving it to him. Elijah sits at a small table to eat his meals and says his blessing, daddy eats supper with him. It's really cute. He wears 3T shirts and 24 Month bottoms & size 7 shoes.
Matthew & I are doing well. We're entering our 6th year of Marriage. We're still learning things about each other. I get his lunch ready the night before & get his uniforms ready for him. He's been letting me sleep in after I feed Gabriel on Saturday mornings, and helping me clean on the weekends. We still have moments, no one has a perfect marriage, but I think things are coming together. We are going home on vacation soon, not many people know. I guess they will know now, if they read this. We also have planst to go to Nebraska in July, then we have birthdays like crazy after that. My birthday is coming up in May, along with Mothers Day, then Fathers day in June, Nebraska in July, Gabriels bithday in Sept, Elijah in Oct, Nov is our 6th Wedding anniversary, Dec is Matthew's birthday & Christmas.... I'm totally shocked that I'm going to have a 3 year old in Oct! Me, a 3 Year old!! I'll be 23 in May!!! And by the end of the year I'm going to have a 1 year old & a 3 Year old!! I'm trying to wait until Gabriel is 1 1/2-2 1/2 before I try for a thrid. So far, I'm doing good. I'm not on BC, just not a fan of how the hormones treaet my body & having something in my arm or body just doesn't make me feel comftertable. Matthew will be testing for staff this cycle. I'm so nervous for him. He has a PT coming up on the 1st of April. I'm not too worried about that. He has no clue if hes going to stay in or get out, I'm not sure what would be best for our family right now. We have so many things to think about and so much to plan for. We've met so many great people in the AF, so many life long friends, that's for sure, our church family would be very tough to leave, but I know we'd keep in touch with them, thank you Lord for Facebook ;)
Well, Gabriel is up from his morning nap, and i've gotten him changed & he's playing in the floor, so I'm going to fold clothes & play with him, and look for mine & Matthew's debit cards, they seem to be missing....
