Well I am a little over 21 weeks and I've had my share of problems this pregnancy already! It stinks. I guess you could say I'm on moderate bed rest, I'm not allowed to pick up Elijah unless no one else is around, or do heavy cleaning or moving of furniture, I can barely walk much without contracting. I thought I was leaking fluid on Saturday, so I went in and was shocked at my contractions, and thankfully I wasn't leaking fluids, it could have been several things I was feeling, it could be G really laying on my bladder, or bouncing on it, or the yeast infection I got from the meds I was taking for my bladder infection-I read the side affects and it said nothing about causing a yeast infection but it did! First one I've ever had as an adult and I'll say I know first hand why a baby cries and screams when they have one. Super uncomfortable! But my contractions weren't hurting me, but they were on the other hand uncomfortable.
For our trip home my midwife has already said she's not happy with me going home, especially with us driving, but she's talking about checking my cervix, doing a nst(non stress test) and definitely sending me with my records, just to be on the safe side! Which of course makes me feel a bit better!
This pregnancy I feel like its been a bit tougher than my pregnancy with Elijah. I was hoping to not go into L&D until I was actually in labor and I've had to go in twice in two weeks! At least I only have had to get on iv. That sucked too, bc they blew a main vein on the back of my hand, it hurt like crazy, and it still does! But I'm learning that I will go through any amount of pain for my babies.
I guess this is all for now :) I'll try to update more later!

Things on My mind/ Small Wishlist
I've had a lot of odd thoughts lately. I saw a great friends baby a few hours after he was born, and he was so tiny, and so adorable, which was my first few thoughts, my second thoughts were, oh my gosh, how am I going to be able to deal with a *almost* 2 year old, plus a newborn! Yes, I have my mom planning on coming down sometime in September, and hopefully Matthew can take some extra leave with his daddy leave. I also have some great friends that I know will come by to check on me, bring me food, if I need it, and just come by to make sure I'm doing ok. I don't want to be so stressed out this time, I know I can't be super mom, I know that not everything can be done in one day, I know how hyper my son can be, how disobedient he can be as well, but I'm hoping he will get better with listening. He usually does an amazing job listening, but when he's frustrated or overly tired, he doesn't want to listen. I am just scared that once Elijah sees baby G he will get jealous, or want to regress and go back to acting like a baby, and that scares me the most. He's so smart, and has learned so much, and such a sweet boy, and I love my toddler boy, and would hate to see him in a jealous mode. He's never been in a jealous mode though, so that must be a good thing, right? I've held others people's babies, he's been around other babies and he likes to help them. But he also likes to take there pacis and put them in his mouth and chew on them. :/
This is why I'm trying to keep him involved in all my appointments, try to explain to him that bubba is in Mommy's belly, and talk to him about bubba. Like today, I was getting Elijah's crib out of his room finally and I was telling him it's now bubba's crib, that it's going into bubba's room, and he said,"bubba, yea" So cute! When I get things for baby G, I tell Elijah who's it for, and why. I know some people may think I'm silly, and maybe I am, but I want to try to help my son understand. No matter if he was 18 months, 2 years, 5 years, 12months, or younger! If you at least try and talk about the baby then your first may understand faster then you think they will. Kids/Babies understand more than what adults give them credit for!
My Elijah is my sweetheart, pumpkin, pooh bear, monkey and my bear monkey! He's my first son, and has my heart and always will. I have no doubt in my mind that I will love baby G just as much as I love Elijah! I'm not scared about loving one less than the other. I am scared that I won't be able to spend enough time with Elijah, that I have been, or be able to teach Baby G like I did Elijah. Or I won't be able to discipline Elijah like I should for his age, because I'll be busy nursing or changing a diaper, or I'll be so tired from being up at night with baby G and try to put Elijah down for a nap while I try to nap. Or Baby G will be napping and Elijah will be having a bad day and keep baby G awake, or the opposite Elijah will be napping and baby G will be fussy and he will keep Elijah up. These things may be silly things to worry about, but I think every mom probably worries about these things, and if you don't, then good for you!
Anyways, this pregnancy, and this baby I want to do a few things different, and I have a wish list of things I want to get! Here are a few on my wish list and why!

Half Way(ish) done
How far along are you? 20 Weeks
How much weight have you gained? Bad me forgot to weigh myself this morning, but I would say 5-6 pounds!
Mood Swings? I get emotional just like any other pregnant hormonal woman! Things get said and I could tear up, or I can get angry, but Emotions I've learned are a choice, you choose to be happy, angry, sad, or mad. And, I'm learning it's hard, but I can overcome being sad or upset or angry. :-)
Sleeping: I try to get some good sleep at night. It's rough, rolling side to side. I wake up on my back, and a baby beating my tummy to roll over haha!
Movement? A lot lately. While I'm eating baby will do flips in my tummy, I think the baby likes my cooking! haha!
Gender? We will find out soon, I hope! haha! Matthew's vote is girl, my vote is I don't know any more. Some days I think it's a girl, some days I think it's a boy! I asked Elijah, "there is a bubba in mamas tummy?" His answer the first day was bubba(that was the first day he had said bubba) today I
asked him, and he said nothing and shook his head "no" haha.. We will see!
Belly Button: Still an innie! :-)
Weekly Wisdom? Water, fluid, water! haha
Milestone this Week? All the flips and moves I feel! All the energy I have now! Just today I washed 4 loads of laundry, folded one, cooked supper, put up a new blind in the dining room, vacuumed the living room, vacuumed our bedroom, cleaned off the dining room table, cleaned all the dishes, cleaned up from supper, and even cooked some muffins. Tomorrow is a busy day as well. I have to clean the hall bathroom, steam clean the carpets, finish folding the clothes, and clean Elijah's room! OH, And Matthew ranked up! That's a milestone for our family! haha!
Next appointment? April 18, 9 am! :-)))) I can't wait to hear the heartbeat!!
Next Ultrasound? Surprise!!! I'm not telling! The previous date is not correct! It's now a surprise! :-))) I know, I'm mean! haha!
Baby is now about 10 1/2 ounces, and about 10 inches long from head to heal! (awww so long!!)Baby is swallowing more these days.
These days have been great! I'm doing a new thing with my life lately. I've seen a change in myself and I hope my husband has too. This journey will not be easy, and it hasn't been, but love is worth it!

So much ahead of us!
How far along are you? I am 19 Weeks and 2 days as of today
How much weight have you gained? Well the other day I weighed myself, and I lost two pounds, so I guess I'm back at 4 pounds, which I'm ok with :-) I want to gain slowly, since my appetite is picking back up!
Mood swings? Not much this week. :)
Sleeping? It's on and off. I have good and bad nights. I wake up a lot and find myself on my back, and it feels like I've been on it for long period of time. Sometimes baby wakes me up by kicking or flipping around, I guess it's telling me to roll over! haha!
Dreams Have been weird! Some nights are pretty cool, some are really weird! I wake up and think, how in earth can someone dream something like that?
Been feeling baby move? Yes! Usually when I go lay down, or when I'm resting during the day.
Gender? I love how this baby is being so tricky!- Not really- some days I think boy, some days I think Girl. I've shown people the "gender" shot the tech got on Monday and they are even iffy on boy. The tech said looks like a boy(which we would be more than happy with) But, she also said she couldn't really tell, one baby wouldn't stop flipping around, and wouldn't let her see, two, the umbilical cord was right up the butt and legs of the baby. She suggest we go somewhere around 20 weeks to find out, so hopefully we have more luck this coming week. The other place wants me to drink or eat something sugary before my appointment, HA- Fat chance! This baby is all over this place without sugar, I can't think of giving it sugar, they wouldn't be able to tell me either! haha!
Belly button? Still where it has always been. Innie!
Labor Signs? Nope, and they can stay away until at least 37ish weeks! haha!
Best moment this week? Just seeing our baby! Watching it flip all around, kick, and hit mommys tummy. Elijah getting to watch his sibling roll around in mommys tummy was also a great sight!!
Weekly Wisdom? If I had the chance to go back and wait a bit longer for my anatomy scan, I would have waited closer to 20 Weeks. One, baby is bigger, and two we possibly wouldn't have to be paying for a second ultrasound so soon. Yes, it's only $50 but when you're getting ready for baby number two that $50 can go towards room decorations, or paint or something else. haha! That's the way I think of it, but I am glad we get to see him or her again! :-) Just hope baby G is a bit more calm this time!
Milestone this week? Milestone for this week would be loosing two pounds! I didn't do it on purpose, It came as a shock, but it was pretty cool!
Next appointment? April 18 at 9 am with my favorite midwife, Connie!
Next Ultrasound? On the books for April 13, Friday, but hoping to change it to the day before, just so if baby G decides to show itself, and not have the umbilical cord around it's legs, everyone will know before my shower, and not the day before.. Trying to give everyone more than a day notice if I can
Well, this week some say baby can hear loud noises, I think that's true... Baby is about 8 1/2 ounces, and 6 inches long! (the size of a 6inche sub haha) Hair on the scalp is also sprouting!
Best profile shot the Tech could get!
Question: How do you get really clear pictures?? I plan on looking this up! Do you need to drink like a lot of water before you go in? I had thrown up twice before this ultrasound, tried having a full bladder, but wasn't able to keep anything down. I want to know for my next ultrasound! I want really pretty clear shots! haha!
