Loving and Learning

Most of my post lately will be able learning something or another. Which I think is cool. So right now while Elijah is napping, I've been catching up on "Switched at Birth" I love this show! It's teaching me to sign! I know, a show on ABC family is teaching me how to sign. I know how to sign the following  words, mom, dad, kiss, please, ok, & think. There are a few more signs that I know, but I can't think of all the words. The awesome thing about watching it, is I'm watching it on "Netflix"! But, like what I've been talking about lately...

So, I haven't taken a test today, I didn't see the point in it. I looked up things on ovulation last night and what I found was the hormone can last in the body up to 36 hours. And so with that being said, I'm going to call the clinic tomorrow and get myself an appointment to see if I everything is ok with us at least trying again for number two! Just to make sure they find nothing wrong with my girlie parts. :)

So, on another note, I had an interview today! It was for the base Inn, as a front desk person. Prayed right after I got the phone call, and I before I left for the interview and on my way too it. But during it, she said all he is really looking for is Mid shift, weekends and holidays, and only 16-24 hours a week and only $8.00 an hour. I added it all up, and working weekends, and holidays and missing out on great night sleeps isn't worth the pay I would get, so even if she calls me back that I did get the job, I will have to turn it down. She didn't sound so thrilled when I told her I couldn't work mids. For one that's what Matthew works, and I can't and won't pay anyone to sit here all night with Elijah, then after I got off of work I would want to sleep, but then Elijah would be getting up two hours after I got home. I can't do that. So, maybe after we move into our house I can start the daycare thing that I've always wanted to do.

Well we will probably start moving in our new house this week. I'm excited! I just hope we can get everything in the new house without a lot of added stress! Well I guess I am done with this post! Enjoy your evening! :-)

  1. I love Switched at Birth too! It's not crazy learning from a tv show. If you were closer I could teach you to sign :). I took ASL :). I could even teach you some German lol.
Have you been to www.i-am-pregnant.com? Love that site. It has everything you could imagine and lots of information.
I commend those who can do mids! My sleep schedule may be wacky but the one time I worked a mid like shift...never again! You'll find something :). Day care, go for it hun! You'd be great at it!
