Being a Mom

I'm got a book today, and I'm going to share some of the quotes from the book on some upcoming blogs.

Being a mom means thinking you're the luckiest person in the world.

Being a mom means being a role model.

Being a mom means discussing with your husband how you want to raise your kids. Before you even have them.

Being a mom means being overprotective. It's something genetic.

Being a mom means passing down traditions.

Being a mom means having a life filled with Bittersweet moments-like the first day of preschool and high school graduation.

Being mom means serving as a personal assistant. Often to people shorter than four feet tall.

Being a mom means saying, "That's not nice".

Being a mom meandering teaching that every second of the day isn't supposed to be fun; that there are days when rooms have to be cleaned, dishes picked up, and laundry done.

Being a mom means making lists and schedules and posting them all around the house and on the refrigerator door.

Being a mom means keeping a flashlight handy for looking down throats.

And the last one for today...

Being a mom means knowing you have to respect yourself or else your child/ or children won't respect you.

I hope you all enjoyed this! Some will really like this, some of you won't even care, but for those of you who like these know they are all true.
